Introduction & acceptance
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of aesthetic treatment services by Little Bird Aesthetics ("we," "us," "our," "the Clinic") to you ("you," "your," "the Client," "the Patient"). By booking an appointment, attending a consultation, or receiving treatment at Little Bird Aesthetics, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not proceed with booking or treatment.
These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.
Services offered
Little Bird Aesthetics provides non-surgical aesthetic treatments including, but not limited to:

All treatments are provided at our clinic premises. We do not offer mobile or home visit services.
Professional Standards and Insurance
Little Bird Aesthetics maintains professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance to protect both our clients and our practice.​
We adhere to the highest standards of care and safety in accordance with UK regulations for aesthetic practitioners.​
All treatments are performed by qualified and insured practitioners.
Eligibility for Treatment
Minimum Age: All clients must be 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request proof of age.​
Medical Suitability: Not all clients are suitable for all treatments. Eligibility will be assessed during your mandatory consultation.​
Contraindications: Treatments may not be suitable if you:

You must disclose your full medical history, including any diseases, surgical history, allergies, regular medications, and pregnancy status. Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in refusal of treatment and exclusion of our liability for any adverse outcomes.
Consultations
Mandatory Consultation: A consultation is mandatory before your first treatment with Little Bird Aesthetics. This allows us to assess your suitability, discuss your goals, explain the procedure, and obtain informed consent.​
Medical Questionnaire: You will be required to complete a comprehensive medical questionnaire at your first appointment and update it at subsequent visits.​
Informed Consent: We will explain the treatment, expected results, potential risks, side effects, and aftercare requirements. You will be asked to sign a consent form before treatment proceeds.​
Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it is not in your best interest or if you are medically unsuitable.
Right to Withdraw: You have the right to change your mind and withdraw consent at any time.
Appointments and Bookings
Booking: Appointments can be made through our website booking form.
No Deposits Required: We do not require deposits to secure appointments.
Confirmation: You will receive booking confirmation via email or SMS. Please ensure your contact details are correct.
Treatment Intervals: Minimum time between repeat treatments is specified in our FAQs section and will be communicated during your consultation.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Client Cancellations: We kindly request 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. While we do not charge cancellation fees, advance notice allows us to offer your slot to another client.​
Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule to ensure adequate treatment time and avoid delays for other clients.
No-Show Policy: We do not charge fees for missed appointments; however, repeated no-shows may result in future bookings requiring advance confirmation.
Clinic Cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative time.
Payment Terms
Payment Methods: We accept payment by cash, debit/credit card, and bank transfer.
Payment Timing: Payment is due at the time of service, immediately following treatment.
Pricing: Current prices are available on our website and will be confirmed during your consultation.
Price Changes: Pricing may be subject to change. Price increases will only apply to new bookings made after the change takes effect. Existing appointments will honor the price agreed at the time of booking.
Refund Policy
Refunds will only be provided in the event that payment has been taken and the service has not been carried out.
Refunds will not be issued for:

Any refund requests must be made in writing within 7 days of the payment date.
Treatment Results and Expectations
Individual Results: Results from aesthetic treatments vary between individuals. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as results depend on factors including your age, skin type, lifestyle, medical history, and adherence to aftercare.​
Realistic Expectations: During your consultation, we will discuss realistic expectations. Aesthetic treatments aim to enhance your natural features, not create perfection.
Treatment Duration: Results are temporary:

Dermal fillers typically last 6-12 months depending on the product and treatment area

Full Effect Timing: Some treatments take time to show full results (e.g., anti-wrinkle treatments may take up to 14 days).
Free Top-Up Policy

For anti-wrinkle treatments, we offer one free top-up appointment within 2 weeks of your initial treatment if required.

Top-ups are provided at our discretion following assessment and are intended to optimize results, not to correct non-compliance with aftercare instructions.

Top-ups must be booked within the 2-week window and attended as scheduled.
Aftercare and Client Responsibilities
​Aftercare Instructions: You will receive detailed aftercare instructions following your treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully.
Results and Aftercare Compliance: If you do not follow the recommended aftercare, we cannot guarantee treatment results and will not be held liable for any adverse outcomes or unsatisfactory results.
Post-Treatment Contact: If you experience any concerning symptoms or side effects following treatment, you must contact us immediately.
Honesty Requirement: You must be honest and transparent about your medical history, lifestyle habits, previous treatments, and any changes to your health between appointments.
Risks, Side Effects, and Complications
Common Side Effects: All aesthetic treatments carry potential side effects, which may include but are not limited to:

Headaches (anti-wrinkle treatments)

Emergency Situations: In the unlikely event of a serious complication, you should inform us as soon as possible and seek immediate medical attention.
Limitation of Liability
Little Bird Aesthetics provides treatments with reasonable care and skill in accordance with UK aesthetic practice standards.
We are not liable for:

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific treatment in question.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
Photography and Testimonials
Before-and-After Photos: With your explicit written consent, we may take before-and-after photographs for your medical records and for marketing purposes (website, social media, promotional materials).​
Separate Consent: Photography consent is documented separately from treatment consent. You may consent to photography for medical records only, or also for marketing use.
Right to Withdraw: You may withdraw consent for marketing use of your photographs at any time by contacting us in writing.
Reviews and Testimonials: We reserve the right to share any reviews or testimonials you provide about our services on our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.
Anonymity: If you prefer your testimonial to be shared anonymously, please inform us when providing your review.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Little Bird Aesthetics website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and designs, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our prior written permission.
The "Little Bird Aesthetics" name and logo are our trademarks and may not be used without authorisation.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any consent forms you sign, constitute the entire agreement between you and Little Bird Aesthetics regarding our services.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
